    What is the difference between stepping motor and reducer motor?

    Stepper motor is an open-loop control element stepper motor device that converts electric pulse signal into angular displacement or linear displacement. In the case of non overload, the rotation speed and stop position of the motor only depend on the frequency and number of pulses of the pulse signal, and are not affected by the load change. When the stepping driver receives a pulse signal, it drives the stepping motor to rotate by a fixed angle in the set direction, which is called "step angle". Its rotation operates step by step at a fixed angle. The angular displacement can be controlled by controlling the number of pulses to achieve accurate positioning; At the same time, the speed and acceleration of motor rotation can be controlled by controlling the pulse frequency, so as to achieve the purpose of speed regulation.
    The reduction motor is composed of a reducer (Gearbox) + a motor. The motor provides speed and speed, but the torque is small and the inertia is large; The function of the reducer is to reduce the speed, increase the torque, and reduce the inertia, so as to reach the ideal speed and torque; For example, electric curtains and electric rolling gates are commonly used, all of which adopt speed reduction motors with slow speed and large torque.
    In short, the stepper motor can be controlled at a fixed length and speed. For example, when the workbench moves 1 meter, the rotation speed can be set freely. Common application cases include the stepper motor of the workbench of the milling machine. The difference between the two is that the stepping motor can be fixed in speed and timing (how long you want to walk and how fast you turn can be set); The speed of the reducer is determined by the reduction ratio, and the speed cannot be adjusted; However, the stepping motor torque is small and the reducer motor torque is large.
